It's been one heck of a summer at Long Story Short. I was hoping to take boat rides, watch movies, catch up on books, get some sun, redecorate my guest room/office/back to guest room, take some road trips. Aaron was to teach me about the intricacies of Micro Brews.  And yet, work at Long Story Short has kept us busier than we imagined!

This is  great news and we've enjoyed every moment with our clients.

We first finished post production for The National Cherry Blossom Festival centennial promotional video. (Reveal to come soon!)

I traveled to Burundi on a shoot of a lifetime and have been working on post production. We are getting ready for a trip to India August 20th and can't wait!

Richard Akerson returned to the fold and we are thrilled to have him back and editing at all hours of days and night.

The entire crew traveled to New York for the Rockefeller Foundation and to produce an upcoming video for HEAF (The Harlem Education Activities Fund)

Drum roll......a  MUCH more grand and formal introduction will shortly be made to introduce Kimi Culp- the newest family member and West Coast creative director for Long Story Short. More to come on this.

And... Melissa Schmitt, a phenomenal producer has joined us for the next few months.  She is our new rockstar!

We have so many exciting things coming up in the fall... Mars Candy, The Lab School of Washington, The Global Network, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation, and  many many exciting clients to come in the fall! We can't wait to show you our stuff!!!

AND- we swear that party we've been promising is coming down the pike soon! Promise!!

Thanks to Steven for a great internship this summer. Our intern, Joe Kennedy, will be promoted to part time PA in the fall! Great news!

More to come!
